Following an aerial survey to assess the situation on the ground, the Prime Minister emphasized that no effort will be spared in providing relief and assistance to those affected by the natural calamity.

The state of Himachal Pradesh has been reeling under the severe consequences of heavy rainfall, triggering flash floods and landslides that have disrupted lives, damaged infrastructure, and caused significant distress. The aerial survey provided critical insights into the scale of destruction, enabling authorities to strategize immediate rescue and rehabilitation measures.

“We stand shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters in Himachal Pradesh during this challenging time,” the Prime Minister stated. He assured that the government is mobilizing all available resources to ensure swift aid delivery, including food, medical supplies, and shelter for the displaced. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and other agencies are working tirelessly to restore normalcy and support affected communities.
