In a decisive move to support the people of Himachal Pradesh reeling from devastating floods, cloudbursts, and landslides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state on September 9, 2025, to assess the extent of the damage and review ongoing relief efforts. Demonstrating the Central Government’s commitment to the hill state, PM Modi announced a substantial financial assistance package of ₹1500 crore to aid recovery and rebuilding efforts in the affected regions.
