Demonstrating the Central Government’s commitment to the hill state, PM Modi announced a substantial financial assistance package of ₹1500 crore to aid recovery and rebuilding efforts in the affected regions.

During his visit, the Prime Minister conducted an aerial survey of the flood-ravaged areas and held detailed discussions with state officials and disaster response teams to evaluate the situation on the ground. These measures reflect the government’s focus on providing immediate financial relief to the families hardest hit by the tragedy.

The Prime Minister’s visit and announcements have brought hope to the people of Himachal Pradesh, who are grappling with the aftermath of heavy rainfall and landslides that have damaged homes, roads, and agricultural lands.
