Invigilators Trained Ahead of Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 in Rajnandgaon

District administration finalises security and operational preparedness for February 1 examination across multiple centres

With the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (CG TET) 2026 set to be conducted on February 1 across the state, the Rajnandgaon district administration has completed comprehensive preparations to ensure the examination is held in a peaceful, transparent and well-organised manner.

Following the directions of Collector Jitendra Yadav, detailed training was imparted to examination observers at the Collectorate conference hall. The session covered guidelines issued by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (Vyapam), including security and confidentiality provisions, time management, technical procedures, and protocols for handling emergency situations.

Officials informed that the examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm, while the second shift is scheduled from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm.

In Rajnandgaon district, 8,071 candidates will appear in the first shift across 25 examination centres, while 13,179 candidates are expected to take the test in the second shift at 45 centres.

The training programme was conducted in the presence of Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma. Deputy Collector Aniket Sahu was also present during the session.

District authorities stated that all logistical arrangements have been finalised. These include deployment of adequate police personnel at examination centres, monitoring through flying squads, timely distribution and sealing of question papers, and regular inspections to prevent malpractice.

The administration has reiterated its commitment to conducting the examination in a fair, secure and cheating-free environment. Strict action will be taken against any irregularities or unfair practices during the examination process.

Candidates have been advised to reach their respective centres well before the reporting time, carry their admit cards along with valid identity proof, and refrain from bringing any prohibited items.

All concerned officers and staff will remain on duty throughout the examination to ensure its smooth, impartial and peaceful conduct.
