Youth workers shower flowers, raise slogans, and hold celebratory procession across city and rural mandals

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) State President Rahul Tikirha received a rousing welcome on his maiden visit to Rajnandgaon district on Thursday. From rural mandals to the heart of the city, youth workers and party functionaries turned out in large numbers, showering flowers, raising slogans, and organizing grand receptions at multiple venues.
District BJYM President Monu Bahadur informed that the welcome journey began at village Tedesra, where the rural unit honored Tikirha with garlands. The cavalcade then proceeded to Dongargarh, where the state president paid obeisance at Maa Bamleshwari Temple and later visited Chandragiri Teerth. At Tumdibod, leaders including Yash Parakh, Raju Yadu, and Timesh Sahu led another floral welcome.
As the procession entered the Sanskardhani city, Ambedkar Chowk turned into a vibrant reception point with drum beats, fireworks, and a jubilant crowd. Addressing workers, Tikirha praised the enthusiasm of the youth, stressing that unity and organizational strength are the hallmarks of BJYM and the BJP’s values.

Further receptions followed at Pyarelal Chowk, where Ribhay Madhusudan Yadav led the felicitation, and Mahavir Chowk, where North-South Mandal leaders Sajjan Thakur and Prakhar Srivastava extended greetings. The cavalcade then marched through the city’s main roads, drawing participation from BJYM workers at every stop.
Felicitation Ceremony at District BJP Office
The celebrations culminated at the District BJP office, where a formal felicitation ceremony was held. Former MP Abhishek Singh, District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput, Mahamantri Saurabh Kothari, Ravindra Vaishnav, Monu Bahadur Singh, Sumit Bhatia, and Golu Gupta were among the dignitaries present. Senior leaders, BJP office-bearers, and a large contingent of youth workers joined the program, which also featured discussions on organizational expansion, youth participation, and upcoming strategies.
After the program, State President Rahul Tikirha visited Speaker’s House to seek blessings and guidance from Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. The proceedings were conducted by Gokul Suryavanshi.
