Captivating Cultural Performances and Informative Departmental Stalls Made the Celebration Memorable

On the historic occasion of completing 25 years of the formation of Chhattisgarh state, a grand three-day celebration “Rajyotsava 2025” was organized at the Municipal School Ground, Rajnandgaon. The event, celebrated as a Silver Jubilee Festival, concluded with vibrant cultural presentations by students and artists from various schools and institutions across the district.

Students of Eklavya Model Residential School Pendri, PM Shri Sarveshwar Das Municipal Corporation Excellent English Medium School, Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi Government Higher Secondary School, and Neeraj Public School Pendri enthralled the audience with mesmerizing Chhattisgarhi folk dance performances. Mrs. Kamini Sahu‘s soulful Chhattisgarhi folk songs added a melodious charm to the evening.

Artists from Chakradhar Kathak Kalyan Kendra presented classical dance, showcasing the beauty of Indian classical tradition. The program also featured performances by the Kala Pathak Team of the Social Welfare Department, along with inspiring cultural presentations by specially-abled artists from Aastha, Abhilasha, and Mahasamund district, which received heartfelt appreciation from the audience.

To spread awareness, various government departments set up exhibition stalls, providing detailed information to citizens about welfare schemes and development initiatives. A large number of visitors observed the stalls and interacted with officials.
