Nine Beauty Product Outlets Inspected; Samples Collected for Quality Testing

In a bid to curb the sale of counterfeit and substandard cosmetic products, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials conducted intensive inspections across beauty product outlets in Rajnandgaon. The operation was carried out under the guidance of Deputy Director Dr. Netaram Navratan, following instructions issued by the Controller of Food and Drug Administration, Government of Chhattisgarh.
During the inspection drive, nine cosmetic retail stores operating within the district were examined. Officials collected multiple samples of cosmetic items to assess their quality and verify compliance with regulatory standards.

This initiative is part of a broader crackdown aimed at ensuring the safety and authenticity of cosmetic products being sold to consumers, particularly as the market sees rising demand. Authorities have confirmed that similar enforcement actions will continue in the coming weeks to maintain market integrity and consumer health.
