Congress Alleges Political Vendetta by BJP Using Constitutional Agencies
In a united display of resistance, both the Urban and Rural Congress Committees of Rajnandgaon staged a massive protest against what they called the “politically motivated misuse of central agencies” by the BJP-led Union government. The protest was held beneath the flyover near the post office, attracting senior leaders, MLAs, and party workers in large numbers.
The Congress party accused the Modi government of targeting Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and other senior leaders by filing a chargesheet through the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald money laundering case. Calling it “a manufactured crime,” Congress claimed the BJP was using ED and other constitutional institutions to suppress opposition voices.
