Collector Hears Public Grievances Seriously at Weekly Jandarshan, Orders Priority Disposal

Officials Directed to Resolve Applications Promptly and Ensure Eligible Citizens Receive Benefits of Government Schemes

Jitendra Yadav, Collector of Rajnandgaon, heard grievances and complaints of citizens from different parts of the district during the weekly public hearing (Jandarshan) held at the Collectorate conference hall. He directed concerned departmental officials to ensure prompt and priority disposal of all applications received.

The Collector emphasised that citizens approach Jandarshan with expectations and hope for timely resolution of their problems, and therefore officials must address issues as per rules while ensuring that eligible beneficiaries receive benefits under various government schemes. He reviewed the applications and instructed authorities to provide assistance to eligible applicants through appropriate schemes in accordance with regulations.

Several applications were received during the session, including requests related to benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, removal of encroachments, land demarcation, Nazul land matters, scholarships, pensions, Ayushman cards, correction of revenue records, and access to other welfare schemes. The Collector reiterated that all cases should be resolved on priority.

On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Suruchi Singh, Additional Collectors C L Markandeya and Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, and other district officials were present.
