In a grand celebration of Chhattisgarh’s vibrant cultural heritage, the Mitaan Lok Mahotsav 2025 will be held on April 26 in the nearby village of Dhamansara. The event is being jointly organized by the Mitaan Chhattisgarhi Lok Kalakar Kalyan Sangh and the local villagers.

Dr. Raman Singh, Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Mayor Madhusudan Yadav will preside over the function. Distinguished guests include BJP District President Komal Singh Rajput, Congress District President Kulbir Singh Chhabra, District Panchayat Member Devkumari Sahu, Angeshwar Deshmukh, Janpad Panchayat President Pratima Chandrakar, BJP Vice President Leeladhar Sahu, Janpad Member Harshita Abhishek Chandrakar, former member Roshni Yogendras Vaishnav, and Sarpanch Gauri Krit Patel.

Providing details about the event, Mitaan President Rajesh Maru stated that the sixth edition of the festival will present a mesmerizing showcase of Chhattisgarh’s traditional folk art and culture. The program will feature stellar performances by:
- Famous Devi Jas singer Dukalu Yadav
- Renowned folk singer Alka Chandrakar
- Pandwani artist Taruna Sahu
- Folk artist Pandit Vivek Sharma
- Kanchan Joshi, Aru Sahu, and Rajesh Sen
Adding a touch of humor, comedians Ghevar Yadav and Bhola Sahu will entertain the crowd, along with Chhattisgarhi film actor Shiva Sahu.

Dance and expressive performances will be presented by cultural groups like Lok Prayag Rajim, Sangi Ke Maya Gundardehi, and Mor Mayaru Sangi Tedesara. The musical accompaniment will be led by Ugrasen Devdas (Guddu) and his team. The evening will be hosted by President’s Award-winning educator Sanjay Maithil.

The festival will begin with a traditional Ramdhuni ceremony at 7 PM and continue throughout the night. The closing act will be a folk theatre Naacha by Amar Jyoti Naach Party, Mohla.
