Party Functionaries Call Budget Visionary and Inclusive, Say It Strengthens Path Toward Self-Reliant State

Leaders and workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gathered at the party’s district office in Rajnandgaon on Monday to watch the live telecast of the Chhattisgarh State Budget for the financial year 2026–27. The event witnessed participation from several senior leaders, public representatives, and office-bearers from various party wings.
District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput, along with party leaders Yogesh Datt Mishra, Ravi Sinha, Daduram Sonkar, Ginni Chawla, Nadan Sen, Mulchand Lodhi, Deepak Sinha, and Ramesh Sonwani were present on the occasion, along with a large number of party workers.
Speaking during the programme, party representatives described the budget as a significant and forward-looking step toward the holistic development of the state. They emphasized that the financial plan has been prepared keeping in mind the expectations of all sections of society, including farmers, youth, women, the poor, employees, and the business community.

Leaders highlighted key provisions focusing on strengthening the agricultural sector, expanding irrigation facilities, developing rural infrastructure, improving education and healthcare services, and generating employment opportunities. Special mention was made of initiatives related to rural roads, urban development, drinking water supply, electricity infrastructure, empowerment of women’s self-help groups, and skill development programmes for youth.
According to party speakers, the budget will reinforce the government’s vision of building a self-reliant Chhattisgarh and accelerate the pace of development across sectors. They noted that the document goes beyond financial allocations and serves as a roadmap for fulfilling the aspirations of the common people.
The programme concluded with party workers expressing gratitude to the state government for presenting what they termed a people-centric and development-oriented budget, expressing confidence that the initiatives will help the state achieve new milestones of progress.
