Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls Begins

Help Desks and IT Desks Established at District and Tehsil Levels for Voter Assistance

The Election Commission of India has announced the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls with reference to the qualifying date 1 January 2026. During the revision process, citizens can apply for the inclusion of new names, deletion of names, corrections, and change in address in the electoral roll.

For the convenience of voters, Help Desks and IT Desks have been set up at the district and all tehsil levels. Voters can contact these desks to seek guidance regarding Form-6 (new registration), Form-7 (deletion), Form-8 (correction), and Form-8A (address transfer).
