Mayor Madhusudan Yadav Pays Floral Tribute to Chhattisgarh Mahtari Statue Before Leaving for Raipur Celebration

On the historic occasion of Chhattisgarh completing 25 years of its statehood, Mayor Shri Madhusudan Yadav offered floral tribute to the statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari at the Municipal Corporation premises. He was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Shri Atul Vishwakarma and other officials present. Prior to participating in the state-level celebration in Raipur, the Mayor extended heartfelt greetings to the citizens and prayed for the prosperity, happiness, and overall development of the city.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Shri Yadav said that this day holds special pride for the entire state as Chhattisgarh marks the Silver Jubilee of its formation. He noted that the day is also significant as it coincides with Dev Uthani Ekadashi, the traditional beginning of the festive and auspicious wedding season, which adds to the celebratory spirit.
Highlighting the achievements of the state over the past 25 years, he stated that Chhattisgarh has steadily progressed and reached new heights in sectors such as agriculture, education, healthcare, culture, and implementation of welfare schemes. The Mayor emphasized that the Silver Jubilee year is a moment of renewed commitment, new inspiration, and collective progress.
He appealed to the citizens to continue contributing to preserving the pride, culture, and rich traditions of Chhattisgarh, while participating actively in the state’s development journey.
