To improve the upcoming board examination results, Collector Jitendra Yadav convened a meeting with principals and Block Education Officers (BEOs) at Government Dr. Baldev Prasad Mishra Higher Secondary School, Basantpur, Rajnandgaon.
During the meeting, Collector Jitendra Yadav emphasized that the district must achieve an excellent reputation in the education sector at the state level. He instructed all principals to work diligently and take their responsibilities seriously.
“A teacher is identified by the quality of their teaching,” said Yadav, urging teachers to devote their best time and energy to the classroom and their students. He further stated that improving the board examination results should be a top priority and that schools with consistently poor performance will face strict action against responsible teachers.

He directed schools to complete the syllabus on time, conduct monthly tests regularly, and ensure cross-evaluation of test copies between schools. He also encouraged teachers to prepare students through continuous practice and revision sessions.
Yadav added that some lecturers possess multidisciplinary knowledge and should be encouraged to teach subjects beyond their specialization when necessary. He issued a clear directive that no teacher should use mobile phones inside classrooms during teaching hours.
To strengthen exam preparation, the Collector instructed that special classes for 10th and 12th graders be held daily, focusing on solving previous exam questions. He also advised using projectors and internet-based resources to support weaker students.
