In anticipation of the upcoming Deepotsav celebrations, the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) has ramped up efforts to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply across the state. Executive Director of Rajnandgaon Region, Mr. Shirish Selat, has placed the power network of four districts — Rajnandgaon, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, and Kabirdham — on high alert mode.

Mr. Selat has instructed all Sub-Divisional Officers and Assistant/Junior Engineers of distribution centers to respond promptly to consumer complaints and warned that any negligence will invite strict disciplinary action. Considering the increased festive load and extensive lighting during Diwali, all maintenance teams have been put on standby with round-the-clock readiness.
Emergency Preparedness and Field Inspections
The Executive Director also announced surprise inspections during the festive period to assess on-ground readiness. Teams have been directed to stay equipped with necessary tools and restore power immediately in case of any outages or emergencies.
