Devotees of Maa Bhaneshwari Devi Shaktipeeth, Singhola, located near Rajnandgaon city, are preparing for grand Navratri celebrations marked by Jyoti Kalash installation and a series of traditional rituals.

The Shaktipeeth, revered as a divine seat of spiritual energy, witnesses two major annual events—Ram Navami and Durga Navami—when sacred lamps (jyoti) are lit by devotees. As per tradition, offerings of ₹1,501 for ghee lamps and ₹1,101 for oil lamps are made along with floral tributes at the feet of the Goddess.

This year, the Navratri program will begin with Jyoti Kalash installation on Wednesday, September 24, followed by Panchami Kalash Sthapana on September 28, and a Havan, Yagna, and Purnahuti on October 1. The celebrations will conclude with Jyoti Jawara immersion and a grand Shobha Yatra on October 2.
