Among the pilgrims were women laborers from Chhuriya – Smt. Laxmi, Smt. Sahebeen, Smt. Biram, and Smt. Vidya – who shared their overwhelming happiness. “We never imagined we would get the opportunity to see Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Working as daily wage earners, such a journey felt impossible. But thanks to this scheme, we are able to fulfill our lifelong dream,” they said. The group also recalled how, under the same scheme, residents from their ward had earlier visited Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath.

The beneficiaries praised the arrangements made on the pilgrimage train, including timely meals, snacks, tea, and drinking water, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. “The facilities made this trip not only possible but also memorable,” they added.

Other pilgrims echoed similar sentiments. From Chhuriya block’s Kokpur village, Smt. Sushila Bai, along with Johan Neti from Aamgaon, Lakhan Lal, and Puran Das Sahu from Garrapar, described the scheme as “a wonderful initiative” of the state government. “We are overjoyed to finally get a chance to bow before Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. We wholeheartedly thank Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai for launching this program,” they said.

From Mokhla village in Rajnandgaon block, devotees Nand Kumar and Govardhan Das emphasized how the scheme benefits both urban and rural devotees. “This plan ensures that people from the remotest villages can fulfill their spiritual aspirations. It is truly remarkable,” they noted.

Similarly, Smt. Durgabai Dewangan of Bori village, who works as a laborer, expressed her gratitude. “I never dreamed I would be able to visit Ayodhya. Today, I feel blessed that the government has given me this chance,” she said, with folded hands of thanks to the Chief Minister.

The state government’s initiative, which provides free pilgrimage opportunities, continues to touch lives across the region. With every special train, the program is not only facilitating darshan at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir but also instilling hope, devotion, and a sense of inclusion among ordinary citizens.
