Samadhan Camp Brings Government Services to Remote Tribal Village of Bendari

1326 Applications Resolved with 100% Redressal Rate under Good Governance Festival in Chhuriya Block

In a proactive move under the Good Governance Festival 2025 (Su-Shasan Tihar), a cluster-level Samadhan (Grievance Redressal) Camp was successfully organized in the remote tribal village of Bendari, located in Chhuriya development block. The camp aimed at resolving public demands and departmental complaints received during the festival’s first phase with speed, transparency, and effectiveness.

Multiple government departments including Panchayat & Rural Development, Agriculture, Women & Child Development, Revenue, Health, Education, Food, Forest, Labour, Transport, and Public Health Engineering set up dedicated stalls to inform villagers and provide services on-site.

A total of 1326 applications were received – 1321 related to demands and 5 to grievances – all of which were fully resolved. Officials conducted public readings of applications and resolutions, ensuring transparency and building trust among villagers. Residents expressed satisfaction with the process and active participation.

Eligible beneficiaries received benefits under flagship welfare schemes, including:

  • Completion certificates for houses under PM Awas Yojana
  • New ration cards
  • Driving licenses and job cards
  • Fishing nets (Fishery Dept)
  • Seed distribution (Agriculture Dept)
  • Social security pension approval letters
  • E-tricycles for differently-abled individuals
  • Maternity and nutrition ceremonies (God Bharai and Annaprashan) by WCD department

The event was graced by several public representatives and officials including District Panchayat President Kiran Vaishnav, Janpad Panchayat President Sanjay Sinha, Vice President Prashant Thakur, various Zila Panchayat Members, SDM Shrikant Korram, Tehsildar Vijay Kothari, CEO Hori Lal Sahu, and panchayat-level leaders from neighboring villages. A large number of villagers also participated enthusiastically.
