In a press briefing held at the Collectorate conference hall, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure addressed the ongoing efforts under ‘Su-Shasan Tihar 2025’, a flagship initiative by the Chhattisgarh government to establish transparent governance and ensure timely public grievance redressal. The program is being carried out in line with the vision of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to make governance citizen-centric, transparent, and accountable.

Dr. Bhure stated that the campaign aims to ensure effective implementation of government schemes, rapid resolution of public complaints, and direct engagement between citizens, officials, and elected representatives. The initiative is structured in three phases.

In the first phase (April 8–11), over 1,27,659 applications were collected from across the district, including 1,24,202 related to demands and 3,357 as complaints. These applications were received through on-ground collection boxes, camps, and an online portal. The administration set up collection points at district and block headquarters, including local markets.

In the second phase, these applications were digitized and forwarded to respective departments and local bodies. Of the total received, over 84,129 applications have already been resolved, with reviews underway to ensure the quality of resolution. Demands are being addressed based on budgetary provisions, and each department is being held accountable through district- and state-level monitoring.

The third phase, which runs from May 5 to May 30, will see the organization of 68 grievance redressal camps across urban and rural areas of the district. Each camp will serve between 8 to 15 village panchayats and provide on-the-spot grievance resolution, registration of new applications, and awareness about various welfare schemes. Special officers have been assigned to each camp, and all relevant departmental officials will remain present.

Dr. Bhure noted that senior government officials including the Chief Minister, Deputy CMs, and ministers will visit these camps, directly interact with citizens, conduct surprise inspections of development projects, and gather public feedback. The Chief Minister is also expected to hold review meetings and address a press conference during his district visit.

The Collector urged the media and citizens to actively participate in promoting the Su-Shasan Tihar and take advantage of the platform. Also present at the press meet were Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, SDM Khem Lal Verma, and Deputy Collector Abhishek Tiwari, along with other officials and media representatives.
