The Sushasan Tihar 2025, envisioned by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, continues to deliver timely, transparent, and people-centric governance in Rajnandgaon. As part of the first phase conducted between April 8 to April 11, the Municipal Corporation of Rajnandgaon facilitated the Ayushman Bharat and Ayushman Vay Vandana Card registrations, bringing relief to citizens, particularly senior citizens.
Of the 20 applications received, 16 Ayushman Cards were registered and issued immediately, including Ayushman Vay Vandana Cards for four elderly beneficiaries above 70 years of age—Girish Kumar Thakkar, Rayakunwar Jain, Kunti Yadav, and Shanti Yadav.
Mr. Thakkar, a 70-year-old resident of Jamaat Para, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating that this initiative will ensure free healthcare for the elderly, truly reflecting the government’s commitment to citizen welfare.
The Health Department, working proactively, ensured swift processing of applications. Two remaining applicants, Keshav Lalwani and Bharti Lalwani, were advised to get their ration cards made first, a requirement for Ayushman registration. The final two applicants, currently out of town, will receive their cards upon their return.
The ongoing campaign is not only registering applicants in person but is also resolving issues via telephonic discussions, ensuring accessibility and efficiency even from a distance. The initiative is part of a broader mission to make governance responsive and easily reachable for every section of society.
