Officials directed to resolve applications on priority and ensure eligible citizens benefit from government schemes

Jitendra Yadav on Tuesday heard the grievances and complaints of citizens during the weekly Jan Darshan programme held at the collectorate conference hall. People from different parts of the district attended the public interaction programme and submitted applications related to their problems and demands.

During the session, the Collector listened carefully to each applicant and directed concerned departmental officials to resolve all received applications on priority. He emphasized that the issues raised by citizens should be addressed promptly and in accordance with rules so that people can benefit from various government welfare schemes.
The Collector also reviewed the applications submitted during the programme and instructed officials to ensure that eligible beneficiaries are provided benefits under government schemes after proper verification. He stated that many citizens come to Jan Darshan with hope and expectations, and therefore their concerns must be addressed with seriousness and urgency.
Several types of applications were received during the public grievance redressal programme. These included requests related to benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, land acquisition matters, removal of illegal encroachments, land demarcation, issues related to Nazul land, pension benefits, and correction of revenue records.

The Collector instructed officials to ensure that the applications received during the Jan Darshan programme are processed and resolved within the stipulated time so that citizens receive timely relief.
The meeting was attended by Suruchi Singh, Additional Collector CL Markandey, Additional Collector Prem Prakash Sharma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma and other district officials.
