Former Chief Minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh and current Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Digvijaya Singh received a warm and dignified welcome from the District Congress Committee, Rajnandgaon, upon his arrival in Dongargarh. After reaching from Raipur, he stayed overnight in the town.

During the interaction, newly appointed office-bearers — District General Secretaries Rahul Tiwari and Pankaj Bandhav, along with District Congress spokesperson Anees Khan — were formally introduced to him.
Addressing party workers, Digvijaya Singh congratulated the new appointees and emphasized strengthening the organization at the grassroots level. He urged leaders to actively raise public issues and ensure that Congress ideology reaches every booth-level worker.
Vipin Yadav briefed the senior leader about the district unit’s organizational expansion, ongoing activities, and the prevailing political scenario.

Before departing, Digvijaya Singh fondly remembered his longtime associate from the days of undivided Madhya Pradesh politics, Prakash Yadav, and spoke to him over the phone to inquire about his well-being.
