A review meeting of District Organisation Commissioners of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Chhattisgarh, was held on Tuesday at the state headquarters in Raipur under the chairmanship of State Chief Commissioner Inderjit Singh Khalsa. The meeting focused on organisational performance, membership growth, financial contributions, and future training initiatives.

During the session, Khalsa reviewed details related to institutional contributions collected from schools and directed officials to ensure timely deposit of the funds. He also instructed district officials to increase outreach efforts and bring more schools under the Scouts and Guides framework to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.

Highlighting the importance of digital integration, the State Chief Commissioner emphasized prioritised implementation of the Online Youth Management System (OYMS). He advised district units to seek support from computer operators, IT-skilled leaders, as well as Rovers and Rangers to ensure effective operation of the system. Discussions were also held regarding planning for Basic Courses in the upcoming academic session, with instructions to prepare a structured action plan in advance.

The meeting included deliberations on participation in major national-level events, including the 19th National Jamboree and the First National Rover-Ranger Jamboree held in Balod district. Khalsa encouraged districts to actively participate in such programs to enhance exposure and strengthen scouting culture across the state.
