A large-scale blood donation camp was successfully organised on December 18 at the primary school building in Singhola village under the auspices of Maa Bhaneshwari Devi Shaktipeeth. The camp was conducted by New Star Navyuvak Mandal Singhola Premier League 2025 with the spirit of social responsibility, public service and human welfare.
The programme was led by teacher and president of the organising committee, Chhanendra Kumar Sahu. Youths, teachers and villagers from the surrounding areas participated enthusiastically, resulting in the collection of 54 units of blood.
A notable highlight of the camp was the active participation of women donors. Mrs Rani Sahu, Mrs Ganeshia Sahu and Mrs Laxmi Sahu donated blood for the first time, setting a strong example and inspiring other women to come forward. After donating blood, Mrs Rani Sahu stated that with faith in Maa Bhaneshwari Devi’s blessings and a sense of social duty, she decided to donate blood to motivate more women to join such humanitarian initiatives.

Among other first-time donors was Domar Deshmukh, a teacher from Mudpar School. Chhanendra Kumar Sahu himself donated blood and encouraged the youth to actively participate in social service. Likesh Sen from Dongargarh Block travelled from a distant location to donate blood for the 19th time, presenting an outstanding example of consistent service. Ranjit Kumar Sahu from Khursipar, Dongargaon, also participated in the camp by donating blood.
To promote traffic safety and public awareness, organisers honoured each blood donor with a helmet and a certificate. The message of “My Family – Blood Donor Family” was emphasised to encourage voluntary blood donation and strengthen community participation.
The success of the event was made possible through the collective efforts of New Star Navyuvak Mandal office-bearers, including Mukesh Kumar Sahu (Vice President), Girdhari Dhankar (Secretary), Rupendra Sahu (Joint Secretary), Radhe Sahu (Organisation Secretary), Rakesh Sahu (Treasurer) and Harish Chandrakar (Joint Treasurer).

Special guidance and participation were provided by Chhannulal Sahu, District President of Navin Shikshak Sangh Rajnandgaon, and Madan Sahu, a noted blood donor and LIC/property advisor. Several volunteers and supporters extended significant cooperation in making the camp a success.
The blood donation camp proved to be not only a valuable contribution to healthcare services but also a powerful message of social unity, awareness and service, inspiring the residents of the region.
