In a landmark move to enhance accessibility and efficiency of consular services, India has opened eight new Consular Application Centers across major U.S. cities—Boston, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Edison, Orlando, Raleigh, and San Jose. Announced by Indian Ambassador to the U.S. Vinay Mohan Kwatra, this expansion will significantly benefit millions of Indian nationals and overseas citizens living in the U.S. by providing easier access to visa, passport, and OCI services. A new center in Los Angeles is also set to open soon.
