Animal Fair, Veterinary Camp, and Free Mega Camp to Mark World Rabies Day on September 26–28

As part of Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav celebrations, the Livestock Development Department will organize a three-day series of events, including an animal fair and veterinary camp on September 26, followed by free mega camps on September 27 and 28 at the District Veterinary Hospital, Rajnandgaon. The program will feature cattle, goat, and poultry exhibitions, free diagnostic tests such as CBC, LFT, RFT, fecal and urine tests, as well as free anti-rabies vaccinations, deworming medicines, sterilization surgeries under the Dog Animal Birth Control Program, pregnancy testing, and artificial insemination for cattle and buffaloes. Veterinary experts will also provide free infertility counseling for female livestock and share information on various government livestock schemes.
