A grand celebration in Rajnandgaon marked the birthday of Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, where he hailed PM Modi’s 25 years of uninterrupted service and praised CM Vishnudev Sai’s leadership. BJP leaders and citizens alike lauded Dr. Singh as a “people’s leader” and architect of Chhattisgarh’s development.

Under PM Awas Yojana (Gramin), Rajnandgaon district has achieved 98.83% completion of rural houses in the past five years and built over 20,000 new homes in just one year. The success showcases the combined effort of governance, administration, and community collaboration in uplifting rural living standards.

Ahead of Diwali, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will distribute sarees to Swachhata Didis, municipal women employees, and SHG members in Rajnandgaon on October 16. The civic event, also marking his birthday, aims to honor their vital role in keeping the city clean.

Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav conducted a morning inspection of key city areas, instructing officials to intensify cleanliness efforts ahead of Diwali. He urged citizens to join the Swachhata drive and emphasized daily monitoring to ensure a clean and healthy urban environment.
