The Arya Samaj, Rajnandgaon was formally constituted during a grand Vedic programme featuring havan-yajna, satsang and discourses by Acharya Yogesh Bhardwaj. Emphasising the revival of Vedic values and youth empowerment, the event highlighted Sanatan philosophy as a guiding force for holistic development and social harmony.

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh paid tribute to Mamta-Mayee Minimata, recalling her lifelong struggle against social evils and her pioneering role as the first woman MP from Madhya Pradesh in 1952. Speaking at the Mamta-Mayee Minimata Nirvan Diwas, held at Guru Ghasidas Cultural Hall, Dr. Singh administered the oath to newly elected office-bearers of the District Satnami Seva Samiti and announced ₹10 lakh for development works. He lauded Minimata’s work for women’s freedom, education, and progress, her efforts to eradicate untouchability, and her promotion of Guru Ghasidas’s message of equality. The event also honored meritorious students and saw the participation of MLAs, former legislators, and a large gathering from the Satnami community.
