The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) North Mandal organised a tree plantation drive at Atal Complex, Vardhman Nagar, under the campaign “A Tree in Mother’s Name” as part of Seva Pakhwada. Senior leaders, public representatives, and citizens participated enthusiastically, pledging commitment to environmental protection and community service in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for service-driven initiatives.

BJP South Mandal office bearers in Rajnandgaon are actively participating in Seva Pakhwada, organizing activities like cleanliness drives, health camps, blood donation, and awareness campaigns, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s life of service and dedication.

Rajnandgaon’s Seva Pakhwada campaign gained momentum as citizens, students, and social groups enthusiastically joined the Clean and Green Festival. Mayor Madhusudan Yadav administered the oath of cleanliness while Morning Walk and Yoga Club members carried out plogging and park cleaning drives.

As part of the Seva Pakhwada being observed from September 17 to October 2 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the Social Welfare Department of Rajnandgaon has flagged off a “Disability Service Rath.” The Rath will visit 110 villages in Chhuriya block, spreading awareness about welfare schemes for Divyangjans and collecting data on 21 categories of disabilities. In addition, service camps will be organized at Janpad Panchayats between September 20 and 28 to provide services such as Aadhaar enrollment and correction, Ayushman card generation, transport passes, disability pension applications, marriage incentives, and assistive device assessments. Authorities have urged maximum participation from Divyangjans to avail these benefits.
