A farewell ceremony was held at the Collectorate Conference Hall today to bid an emotional adieu to outgoing Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, who has been deputed to the Government of India as Joint Commissioner (Textiles). Newly appointed Collector Jitendra Yadav was accorded a warm welcome on the occasion. Both officers expressed gratitude and commitment toward public welfare and efficient governance.

District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure on Thursday inspected preparations for the upcoming free mega health camp scheduled to be held on September 17 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Government Medical College in Rajnandgaon. Organized by the district administration and the Indian Red Cross Society to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the camp will offer free consultations and treatment for both common and serious ailments by leading medical specialists.

The Rajnandgaon Agriculture Department is ensuring farmers receive fertilisers at fair prices, conducting regular inspections, and taking strict action against overpricing and hoarding. Over 58,000 metric tonnes have already been distributed against this season’s target.
