Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of the Lakhnadon–Balaghat–Lanji–Khairagarh–Raipur Greenfield Expressway will be completed by December 2025. The ₹10,000 crore, 220 km high-speed corridor, pushed forward by MP Santosh Pandey’s efforts, is expected to transform regional connectivity, boost trade, tourism, and create new employment opportunities. On the death anniversary of late minister Leelaram Bhojwani, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh laid the foundation stone of a ₹20 lakh memorial gateway at Gaurav Path, Rajnandgaon. Recalling Bhojwani’s long political career, Dr. Singh said the gateway would stand as a tribute to his simplicity, dedication, and lifelong service to the people.
On the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh inaugurated the ₹50-lakh Atal Complex in Rajnandgaon and unveiled a life-size statue of the former Prime Minister, calling him an inspiration for the nation and Chhattisgarh’s youth.
Development works worth ₹52 lakh in Ward No. 28 and ₹20 lakh in Ward No. 30 were formally launched with bhoomipujan ceremonies led by Mayor Madhusudan Yadav. Funded under the Urban Administration and Development Department with the recommendation of MLA Dr. Raman Singh and MP Santosh Pandey, the projects include construction of community halls, roads, drainage systems, and public platforms aimed at strengthening local infrastructure across both wards.
