Chhattisgarh State Food Commission Chairman Sandeep Sharma reviewed PDS, Mid-Day Meal, Nutrition Programme, and hostel food systems in Rajnandgaon, directing timely ration distribution, strict monitoring, and ensuring that no beneficiary faces inconvenience.

During the weekly time-limit meeting held at the Rajnandgaon Collectorate, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure announced that an intensive plantation campaign will be conducted this year under the theme "One Tree in Mother’s Name". He also reviewed departmental readiness for upcoming monsoon initiatives, the International Yoga Day celebrations, and tribal welfare camps under the Dhartii Aaba Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan.

To ease ration collection, Councillor Alok Shroti revised shop timings in Ward 47, Mohara, benefiting workers and reducing queues.
