As part of Su-Shasan Tihar 2025, a large-scale civic outreach and welfare distribution camp was held at Kamla College in Rajnandgaon. Residents from five municipal wards benefited from direct access to government welfare schemes such as Ayushman Cards, Ration Cards, Social Pensions, and Labor Cards. The initiative aimed to resolve grievances on the spot and ensure inclusive delivery of welfare services at the grassroots level.

Rajnandgaon Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure conducted a field inspection of rural wards within the municipal limits, including Dhaba, Singdai, Mohad, and Kanharpuri, to assess land availability for approach roads and implementation of government schemes. He also visited several city parks, directing repairs to pathways and play equipment, and emphasized preparations for monsoon plantation drives.

In a strong push to curb Maoist activities in Chhattisgarh's Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district, Superintendent of Police VY Singh met the family of wanted Maoist commander Lokesh Salame, urging him to shun violence and surrender under the state’s rehabilitation policy. The meeting is part of "Operation Prayas," a district-level initiative that has already seen multiple Maoist surrenders and notable development efforts in remote forest regions.

In a commendable display of social responsibility, the Bharat Scouts and Guides, in collaboration with local organizations and schools, have launched a month-long "Summer Hydration Service" to provide free drinking water at key public locations in Rajnandgaon and Dongargarh. Former MP Abhishek Singh hailed the approval of the Kharsia–Naya Raipur–Parmalaksa railway project as a transformative milestone for Chhattisgarh. Rajnandgaon Collector Sanjay Agrawal, in a high-level district meeting, called Su-Shasan Tihar a transformative initiative for governance, offering citizens a direct platform to express concerns. He directed officials to adopt a positive and people-first approach, ensuring timely and quality disposal of grievances received during the April–May 2025 campaign.
