Mayor Madhusudan Yadav performed bhoomipujan for development works worth ₹43 lakhs in Rajnandgaon’s Ward No. 2 and Ward No. 50, including road, drainage, and community hall construction. The projects, sanctioned under the Infrastructure Fund, were launched in the presence of public representatives and local residents.
Chhattisgarh has approved the construction of 166 Mahatari Sadan with a budget of ₹49.80 crore to empower rural women. Seven centres will be built in Rajnandgaon district, each serving as a hub for community participation, livelihood generation, and women’s self-reliance.
