Mayor Madhusudan Yadav performed bhoomipujan for development works worth ₹43 lakhs in Rajnandgaon’s Ward No. 2 and Ward No. 50, including road, drainage, and community hall construction. The projects, sanctioned under the Infrastructure Fund, were launched in the presence of public representatives and local residents.

Chhattisgarh has approved the construction of 166 Mahatari Sadan with a budget of ₹49.80 crore to empower rural women. Seven centres will be built in Rajnandgaon district, each serving as a hub for community participation, livelihood generation, and women’s self-reliance.

On the death anniversary of late minister Leelaram Bhojwani, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh laid the foundation stone of a ₹20 lakh memorial gateway at Gaurav Path, Rajnandgaon. Recalling Bhojwani’s long political career, Dr. Singh said the gateway would stand as a tribute to his simplicity, dedication, and lifelong service to the people.

Development works worth ₹52 lakh in Ward No. 28 and ₹20 lakh in Ward No. 30 were formally launched with bhoomipujan ceremonies led by Mayor Madhusudan Yadav. Funded under the Urban Administration and Development Department with the recommendation of MLA Dr. Raman Singh and MP Santosh Pandey, the projects include construction of community halls, roads, drainage systems, and public platforms aimed at strengthening local infrastructure across both wards.

The Rajnandgaon Police, in collaboration with a public committee, have installed a sturdy railing barricade on the Chikhli-Khairagarh Road Railway Overbridge, known as the city’s lifeline. This initiative aims to regulate traffic, prevent accidents, and enhance pedestrian safety on one of Rajnandgaon’s busiest routes. The community-driven effort has been widely appreciated by local residents, marking a significant step towards improving the city’s infrastructure and public safety.

Under the 2025–26 Chief Minister's Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme, 60 development projects worth over ₹2.13 crore have been approved in Rajnandgaon district, with 18 villages from the Rajnandgaon Assembly constituency alone receiving over ₹1 crore. Speaker Dr. Raman Singh expressed gratitude to the CM and Rural Development Minister for the approval, while villagers welcomed the move as a boost to grassroots infrastructure.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will lead the foundation-laying ceremony for urban development projects worth ₹23.44 crore in Rajnandgaon. The event will also feature the inauguration of a fish aquarium and mark the launch of several infrastructure projects, including a modern Nalanda Complex for students.

As part of the ongoing 'Sushasan Tihar', Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh participated in a mega solution camp in village Tedsera, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation for 22 development works worth ₹1.21 crore. Multiple welfare benefits, including housing, sanitation, and health cards, were distributed to the villagers under various central and state schemes.

Rajnandgaon Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure conducted an early morning inspection of government land within municipal limits to assess sites for the implementation of approved public welfare schemes. Accompanied by senior officials, the team visited various locations including Mohara water treatment plant and reviewed potential sites for projects such as a Hockey Academy, Nalanda Complex, a multi-purpose auditorium, and wholesale market. The visit underscores the administration’s focus on ground-level execution of state and central government initiatives for the benefit of local residents.

In a major push for sustainable water management, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure announced the construction of 1,000 injection wells across Rajnandgaon under the 'Mission Jal Raksha' campaign. The initiative focuses on implementing advanced groundwater recharge technologies and waste management systems to ensure long-term water security in rural areas.

Dr. Raman Singh has approved ₹2.63 crore for school and rural development in Rajnandgaon. Funds will enhance infrastructure and education.
