Chhattisgarh marked its 25th State Foundation Day with a grand celebration in Mohla, where Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb highlighted the government’s initiatives in rural growth, public welfare, education, infrastructure and women empowerment, while cultural programmes and departmental exhibitions engaged the local community.
During the Rajyotsav celebrations in Rajnandgaon, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh visited various government stalls providing information on statewide welfare schemes, development initiatives, and citizen-centered services across multiple departments.

The Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation has rolled out ward-level pension distribution camps from September 29 to November 14, 2025. The initiative, covering social security pensions for June–August, is aimed at providing convenience to senior citizens and other vulnerable beneficiaries. Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma assured that no pensioner would be left out.
