BJP Cultural Cell in-charge Rajesh Gupta Agrahari has accused the Congress of promoting dynasty politics by favouring leaders’ sons over grassroots workers in the selection of city and district Congress presidents. He said the party’s internal promises of choosing leaders from among the “sons of the soil” have proved hollow, adding that this bias is driving many senior leaders away and weakening the Congress nationwide.
