Under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, expectant mothers in India are receiving timely financial incentives aimed at promoting prenatal health and child immunization. Administered through Anganwadi centers, the scheme offers ₹5,000 in two installments for the first child and a lump sum of ₹6,000 for a second daughter, helping improve maternal care and gender equity.
