Rajnandgaon is poised for major industrial growth with the proposed establishment of a gas-based fertiliser plant, following sustained efforts by Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh. The Chhattisgarh government has signed an MoU with GAIL to set up a greenfield urea manufacturing unit with an annual capacity of 12.7 lakh metric tonnes, expected to boost the state’s economy, benefit farmers, and generate large-scale employment.

A Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Camp was organized at Community Health Centre Kumarda in Rajnandgaon, where 80 children from severe, highly severe and moderate categories underwent health examinations.
