Effective implementation of PMEGP and PMFME schemes in Rajnandgaon has boosted self-employment and industrial growth, with 57 new industries established over two years, generating jobs for 720 people and attracting significant capital investment.

The BJP in Rajnandgaon launched a robust citywide campaign, ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi,’ under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Led by District President Komal Singh Rajput, party workers began the drive from Mahavir Chowk and interacted with shopkeepers in the main market, urging them to promote Vocal for Local products. Swadeshi stickers were pasted on shops, and citizens were encouraged to adopt Indian-made goods in their daily lives. Rajput said the nationwide campaign aims to make Swadeshi a mass movement, boost MSMEs, empower local artisans and expand employment opportunities. The party will conduct multiple awareness programmes across schools, panchayats and public places to promote indigenous products and strengthen the local economy.

World Food India 2025 concluded in New Delhi with investment pledges worth over ₹1 lakh crore, giving a major boost to India’s food processing sector. The three-day mega event saw participation from global giants like Nestle, PepsiCo, and Lulu Group, focusing on agri-exports, MSME integration, and sustainable technologies. With India aiming to double food exports to $100 billion by 2030, the expo emphasized organic farming, millet innovations, and cold-chain infrastructure to ensure nutritional security and rural job creation.

जीएसटी की आठवीं वर्षगांठ पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इसे भारत की आर्थिक क्रांति का मजबूत आधार बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि जीएसटी ने छोटे-मध्यम उद्यमों के लिए कारोबारी सुगमता बढ़ाई, सहकारी संघवाद को सशक्त किया और भारत को एकीकृत बाजार की दिशा में अग्रसर किया है। सरकार अब जीएसटी 2.0 की ओर बढ़ रही है ताकि कर प्रणाली को और सरल व प्रभावी बनाया जा सके।
