A drunken argument over a beedi turned fatal in Raipur’s Pandri area when 35-year-old Sanjay Verma was beaten to death by three acquaintances. The accused, arrested within hours through CCTV evidence, allegedly attacked Verma with sticks after he refused to share a beedi during a late-night drinking session.
