The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to organise Tiranga Yatras at the booth level to spread patriotism and national pride, with district-level meetings underway. District BJP President Komal Singh Rajput accused Congress of consistently insulting the national flag, claiming that it deliberately sidelined the tricolour to weaken public nationalism.

The Rajnandgaon district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will observe August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, with rallies and public meetings planned across all four mandals. District BJP President Komal Singh said that the Partition “tore India into two parts, severed Bharat Mata’s arms, and displaced millions of Hindus from Pakistan under horrific circumstances.” The events will also feature discussions on the significance of the national flag, addressed by farmer leader Ashok Choudhary, who credited Naveen Jindal’s efforts for securing the public’s right to hoist the tricolour.

During his visit to Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh planted a bael tree under the “One Tree in Mother’s Name” campaign at Lalbagh Garden. He urged citizens to contribute towards making the city a national model of cleanliness in the coming year.

At the BJP district office in Rajnandgaon, a special seminar was organized to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee. Key speaker Yogesh Dutt Mishra underscored the continued relevance of nationalist ideology, warning that even a minor deviation could hinder India's development.
