The administration will intensify high-risk pregnancy monitoring, improve ambulance services, ensure quality completion of health centres, and expand institutional deliveries across the district.
The Health Department in Rajnandgaon conducted a district-level review meeting focusing on maternal health, institutional deliveries, immunization, e-attendance monitoring, and progress in national health programmes, with strict directives issued for compliance and improvement.
To strengthen maternal and child health, Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav personally reached out to a high-risk pregnant woman to ensure timely medical care and support. The district is actively monitoring all high-risk pregnancies through weekly calls and daily home visits by Mitanins.
Rajnandgaon Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure chaired the District Health Committee meeting on June 23, emphasizing the need for institutional deliveries, regular antenatal checkups, 100% Ayushman Card utilization, and quality improvement in government hospitals to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.
