Shajapur is on the brink of a historic transformation as Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav unveiled ₹8,174 crore worth of green-energy and industrial projects in Maksi, positioning the district as Madhya Pradesh’s next solar manufacturing hub. With the foundation stone laid for the massive ₹7,104 crore Jackson Integrated Solar Unit and five more key industries, over 15,000 jobs are set to be created. The CM also transferred ₹39.50 crore in relief funds to 60,000 farmers, inaugurated the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sandipani Vidyalaya, and approved a ₹384 crore four-lane highway project – marking a giant leap in Shajapur’s journey toward becoming a renewable and industrial powerhouse.

Bengal Government Announces Rs 29,000 Crore Borrowing Plan for Q3

The West Bengal government has announced a Rs 29,000 crore borrowing plan for the third quarter of the fiscal year to boost infrastructure, welfare, and employment generation. Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya described the move as vital for sustaining growth through initiatives like rural road expansion, Kolkata metro projects, and the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme. However, with the state’s debt-to-GSDP ratio nearing 40%, critics warn of rising fiscal stress, even as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee defends the borrowing as a necessary measure to offset central funding gaps.
