UIDAI is set to unveil a radically redesigned, privacy-first Aadhaar card in December 2025, featuring only a photograph and a high-security QR code on the front. All visible personal details — including name, Aadhaar number, DOB, gender and address — will be removed to curb identity theft. Existing cards will remain valid, while citizens may opt for the new minimalist version for free.

A farewell ceremony was held at the Collectorate Conference Hall today to bid an emotional adieu to outgoing Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, who has been deputed to the Government of India as Joint Commissioner (Textiles). Newly appointed Collector Jitendra Yadav was accorded a warm welcome on the occasion. Both officers expressed gratitude and commitment toward public welfare and efficient governance.

His post emphasized unity in the face of terrorism and echoed the government’s vision of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” symbolizing India’s unwavering commitment to national security and collective strength.
