School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav on Wednesday said Chhattisgarh has achieved its most significant development in the energy sector over the past 25 years, transforming citizens’ lives and accelerating agricultural and industrial growth. Speaking at the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh’s statehood in Rajnandgaon, the minister highlighted major power infrastructure expansion and ongoing initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme.

School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav inaugurated a newly constructed boxing ring set and archery range at Dr. Padumlal Punnalal Bakshi Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Rajnandgaon. He said the upgraded sports infrastructure will provide young athletes with safe, competitive, and high-quality training environments, helping them progress to national levels. The Minister also interacted with students and urged them to focus on academics.

School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Durg division in Rajnandgaon, issuing strong directives to DEOs and BEOs for improving education quality at the grassroots level. He stressed mandatory field visits, proper teacher deployment under the rationalisation system, focused attention on remote areas, and continuous monitoring of teaching standards. Officials were instructed to enhance exam results, ensure students learn multiplication tables thoroughly, and monitor private school admissions under the Right to Education Act. Senior officers of the department also emphasised online attendance of teachers, dropout reduction, and structured academic planning.

Rajnandgaon is set to witness a grand two-day celebration of Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh’s 73rd birthday on October 15. The festivities will include social welfare activities, cultural programs, and a spectacular “Kailash Kher Night” organized by Bhavesh Baid and the Youth Welfare Foundation. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, cabinet ministers, and senior BJP leaders will attend the events, making it a memorable confluence of music, devotion, and community spirit.
