Chhattisgarh Farmers Stage Protest March Over Fertilizer Shortage, Support Nationwide Agitation

Responding to the nationwide call of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha, the Chhattisgarh State Farmers Association organized a protest march in Rajnandgaon and Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district headquarters, submitting memorandums to the President and the Chief Minister through the district administration. Farmers expressed deep anger over the ongoing fertilizer shortage and black marketing, citing unfulfilled promises by the administration despite recent raids that seized 200 sacks of urea. The march also highlighted demands such as increasing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) by ₹117, immediate payment of the fourth installment under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, enactment of MSP Guarantee Law based on the C2+50% formula, halting privatization of electricity, and cancelling alleged anti-farmer trade agreements with the United States.
