Mahavir Ward Councillor Jainam Baid conducted a public outreach programme in Rajnandgaon, addressing civic issues including drinking water, sanitation, pensions and ration cards. He also announced regular Patwari meetings at the ward office to improve access to revenue-related services for residents.

Jal Arpan Diwas was organized in Baghmar village of Rajnandgaon district to promote water conservation and community ownership of rural water supply systems, with officials encouraging rainwater harvesting and sustainable usage.

After residents of Anjora village in Rajnandgaon block reported contaminated water supply, the Public Health Engineering Department conducted an on-site inspection and laboratory testing. The results confirmed clean water following prompt pipeline repair by the Gram Panchayat.

To ensure uninterrupted drinking water supply during the summer months, the Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation will release water from Mogra Reservoir on April 28. The water is expected to reach Mohara Anicut by May 6, securing sufficient water levels for continued service to city residents. The civic body, under the leadership of Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma, is actively monitoring and managing water resources to prevent shortages.

To ease the ongoing water crisis in Rajnandgaon’s Ramnagar area, a Syntex water tank was inaugurated by Mayor Madhusudan Yadav in the presence of local residents and officials. The initiative aims to provide uninterrupted water access during peak summer months.
