The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) successfully conducted the Excise Constable Recruitment Examination across 34 designated centers in Rajnandgaon district. A total of 11,227 candidates appeared for the examination. As per the directives of District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, Additional Collector C.L. Markandeya inspected various examination centers to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the exam.

The Rajnandgaon district administration has intensified its farmer outreach campaign under the Agristack Portal's Farmer Registry. As part of the ongoing ‘Krishak Jodo Abhiyan,’ door-to-door awareness and village-level registration camps are being conducted to ensure all eligible farmers are registered before the August 30 deadline.

A high-level meeting of the Digdarshan Stadium Management Committee was held under the chairmanship of Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure to chart the roadmap for enhancing sports activities in Rajnandgaon. Plans include a state-of-the-art synthetic badminton court, box courts under the city flyover, and improved maintenance infrastructure, all funded by a ₹6 crore state grant.

During a surprise inspection of the District Hospital in Rajnandgaon, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure issued key directives aimed at improving healthcare facilities, ensuring the availability of medicines, better patient behavior from staff, clean premises, and timely execution of essential upgrades. He emphasized prioritizing patient convenience, particularly through Ayushman card benefits and accessible diagnostic services.
