Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav chaired the Jivandeep Committee meeting at the District Hospital on Monday, issuing strict directions to complete the ongoing renovation work before January 1. The meeting also finalised new tenders for the cycle stand and canteen, approved a Millet Café to be run by a women’s self-help group, and cleared proposals for procuring lab equipment and upgrading the psychiatric ward.

Staff Nurse Pushpa Kande, a resident of Green City and an employee of the District Hospital, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of November 24. Community members, colleagues, and public representatives gathered to pay their last respects during her funeral procession on Tuesday.

Rajnandgaon Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure directed Government Medical College and District Hospital to work in close coordination, stressing that patient treatment should always be the top priority.
