During the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Rajnandgaon, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan visited the CRC stall to review rehabilitation services and distributed assistive devices to beneficiaries, acknowledging efforts toward inclusive empowerment.

CRC Thakurtola celebrated International Sign Language Day on September 23, 2025, with deaf and hearing-impaired students of Aastha School. The event promoted inclusivity, showcased performances, and offered basic sign language training to spread awareness.

Under the directive of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, a vibrant "Purple Fair" was organized at CRC Centre, Thakurtola, to empower and uplift persons with disabilities (PwDs). Former MP Abhishek Singh, the chief guest, praised the inclusive initiative that provided a platform for PwDs to showcase their talent, access skill development opportunities, and receive assistive devices like wheelchairs, hearing aids, and tricycles. Cultural events, employment stalls, science exhibitions, and a taste of traditional Chhattisgarhi cuisine added charm to the event.
