At a literary gathering in Dongargaon, MP Santosh Pandey said that great poetry and literature guide society, emphasising their cultural and moral influence. A memorandum seeking inclusion of the Chhattisgarhi language in the Eighth Schedule was presented to the MP, who assured he would raise the issue in Parliament.
